case study : Oppose or Support Silent Partner Idea

            I’m oppose silent partner idea. Based on my opinion, full-time employee gives more benefit since he works and understand more to run this business. He invests his time to success the business. If this shop replaces him with part-time worker will give obstacle to run the business smoothly. The part-time worker doesn’t have enough knowledge to run business since they just already hired. Furthermore, the shop need time to choose the right employee who suitable with this shop. It is a difficult process. In addition, hiring process need the shop to spend a lot of money. To do both keep full time employee and reduce expenses, this shop can do between these following actions:

1.     Give him decent extra work without bonus. Since the shop don’t have part-time employee to work in shift, you need to keep full time employee with extra hours. Make it as an agreement with the employee

2.     Gain new customers. Grab customer attention with good promotion or creative products

3.     Reduce the salary. Tell the employee that situation is not good enough. The profit is too low. So, u offer to reduce the salary for temporary time instead replace him with part time employee.
