- We
have limited vendor so that continuity and availability of products are
limited.

did not set up for hydroponic channel on spot. We provide the video instead

store is not available

fertilizer and seed have expired date.
Due to our
business is online ordering for hydroponic tools and equipments that works
together with trusted local vendor, so that we proposed for trademark. We have
our own logo, symbol and tagline. Others same sites are forbidden to use it.
Our vendors have right to take 90% every purchase from our website, in other
hand rest of 10% is our own. Our vendors take responsibility to ship the
products which our brand “Kebunku.com” in packaging. We provide the brand to
vendors in advance.
Our
organization also needed to pay tax to the state. We pay a sales tax based on
where our customer is. The steps that we do are:

Register for sales tax permit. We register sales tax permit in
each of states. Our customers might be come from more than one state

Collect the tax. For
example, our customer came from Dubuque, IA. So, sales tax will be 7% which is
6% is state tax and another one is local tax. We 7 1% from customer.

We report and file sales tax. We do payment monthly.
Product
liability
Due
to our organization is e-commerce, it does not mean we don’t need insurance. We
still have loss possibility ahead. Because of that, our organization will take
few insurances. Those insurances are listed below:

Data security: Our
organization likely keeps sensitive customer data and valuable business
information on a secure database, but breaches are known to happen. We could
be held liable for each customer’s information. We also make sure we are following the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and that we have the proper security
safeguards in place to protect our customers’ payment information. The cost for
this insurance is about $500 for a year.

Business interruption: Our organization likely rely on other third-party providers to
assist us with functions like internet service. To avoid an issue that stops
our business on our end, a prolonged problem could lead to reduced profit. So
that we take business interruption insurance to recuperate any losses. The cost
is around $ 750 to $10,000
We
understand that our customers need input rapidly to run their business. We will
enhance more vendors to work with. We intent to serve our customers with
well-service. Many vendors support us to keep availability of products and
faster shipment because distribution process become easier.
Our
organization will work with vendors which are trusted local shops as suppliers.
We market their products in our website. Our vendors determine the price of
products. Every purchase from our website will charge them 10%. It means they
take 90% of sales. We take responsibility to receive the orders and accept the
payment (include shipping fee) from customers. Then, we tell our vendors about
the orders. The vendors should be able to ship the orders to our customers with
our brand in packaging. After our customers received the products, we will
transfer 90% of sales to our vendors. These agreements will list in a contract.
